Where the Paintings Begin

This is the room every piece passes through before it reaches you.

Most mornings, the light streams in through my balcony door and windows which are usually open depending on the season. I have my cup of coffee in one hand, a dog lying next to me, and other on my bed and I would have a paint brush playfully in my mouth, as I think of my next strategic painting move, like a chess game.

The Painting Process

The Inspiration Strikes!

I take inspiration from my surroundings. I am sensory, so I touch everything from the trees or interesting tiles I see on my travels. I gather and clear my thoughts and my energy though visions, dreams, working out at the gym, walking the dogs or simply drinking coffee :

Grounding My Energy. I like to go to the beach or go for walks with my dogs.

Getting Into The Flow. Depending on my mood , or if I am traveling I get out my markers and notebook to get my idea out, or I start gathering my supplies, the colors I want to use to get a sense of what I want to paint.

The Sense of Release. Once I start painting or drawing I have dreams of release, depending on the moon phases too I release stagnant energy, or old belief patterns.
